Striving is based on purchasing power of a cryptocurrency generally and token particularly. On the other hand, any crypto currency A or B also needs to be used in order to have value. So it must be accepted in most financial or commercial transactions; this means that this crypto currency must be used in any type of trade or business, for example in stores, supermarkets, airlines, vehicle purchases, buying stocks, buying real estate, etc. This calls usability.
